What services do you provide?
We offer a range of financial services, including currency exchange, ATMs, lotto, P.O. boxes, check cashing, and money orders. While you can exchange foreign currency at any of our branches, please note that some services are only available at select locations—contact us to confirm availability.
Do you charge commission?
We do not have any fees or charges, ever! Not only do we give you the best exchange rate in town, we also never charge the customer any additional fees, charges, or commission.
How competitive are your exchange rates?
Our exchange rates are highly competitive and designed to give you great value. We monitor market trends and competitor rates to ensure we’re always offering the best rates in the area. With no hidden fees or commission, you can count on transparent and reliable service. Whether you’re exchanging pesos, dollars, or euros, we’re here to provide you with the best deal possible.
What form of payment do you accept?
For currency exchange and lotto, we only accept cash.
Can you match rates with other businesses?
At ABC Money Exchange, we strive to offer the most competitive rates in town. While we don’t offer a formal rate-matching policy, you can feel confident that our rates are among the best available.
What documentation do you need to conduct a transaction?
We require a passport, valid driver’s license, or any other government issued picture ID for the following transactions (in USD) and amounts:
• All Check Cashing Transactions
• Foreign currency transactions: $200+
• Wire Remittance transactions of $200+
• Monetary Instrument Sales or Purchases of $200
Beginning April 14, 2025, all money services businesses along the U.S.-Mexico border are required to collect identification for transactions of more than $200.
Any transactions that exceed $10,000 USD, according to FinCEN regulations, have to be reported. In order to conduct the transaction we require a driver license or passport, current address, and a social security number.
